The Farm Machinery and Industry Association of WA (FMIA) represents the farm mechanisation industry in Western Australia. Our members are farm machinery dealers, distributers, importers, exporters, and regional manufacturers and offer products and services which help improve the productivity and profitability of primary producers.
Our Association has close ties with various Governments departments with whom we work for the benefit of our members. We are also a member of a number of committees who seek our advice on matters which affect rural businesses.
We have extensive contacts within the agricultural mechanisation industry both in Western Australia and nationally and are able to guide requests for information about our industry.
The Agribusiness industry, of which we are part, has many career opportunities and we actively work with varied educational institutions to encourage focus on our industry to help cater for the advanced technology in use now and in the future.
