Yokohama TWS Australia (YTWS), a global leader in off-highway tyre and wheel solutions, is reinforcing its commitment to Australian farming customers with a strengthened focus on local manufacturing and an expanded range of premium agricultural products.
At the heart of this strategy is the company’s Bendigo production facility, a cornerstone of YTWS’s “local for local” model. Alongside this is the nationwide extension of the Trelleborg and Mitas tyre ranges, giving dealers, growers, and contractors greater access to premium, locally supported solutions.
Established originally as a family business, YTWS has grown to become one of Australia’s largest distributors of agricultural tyres and wheels. Following its acquisition by Trelleborg Wheel Systems in 2015 and its subsequent integration into the Yokohama Rubber Group, the company now forms part of the world’s fifth-largest tyre manufacturer and the global leader in agricultural tyres.
Located in regional Victoria, the Bendigo plant exemplifies the company’s commitment to local capability. The site manufactures high-performance wheels for both OEM and aftermarket use, including adjustable and fixed wheels up to 54”, cotton reel spacers, and dual kits.
The facility operates to global quality standards using advanced equipment such as CNC milling, plasma cutting, MIG welding, and powder coating.

This helps customers optimise inflation pressures to reduce fuel use, extend tyre life, and improve overall tractor performance – potentially cutting running costs by up to 20%.
